Mid 90's I loved this cd. Pulled it out the other day. I still love it. Her voice has this way of getting inside you. It is haunting and beautiful.

Henry Threadgill "Too Much Sugar For A Dime"

In 1993 I fell in love with this recording. It was my first experience with Mr. Threadgill and his Very Very Circus. Returning to it earlier this week, I still find the collage of musical styles and odd instrumentation to be fresh and exciting. What a record. The pinacle for the V.V.C.
