The clear and bright,beautiful melodic pop from our friends the Shins that is found on "chutes too narrow" is a grand continuation of the brilliance hinted at on "Oh, inverted world" that left me wanting more. In contrast, I love every song on this record. Favorites are "Mine's not a high horse" and "Pink Bullets"
